Just stumbled this morning upon news that Bookfest is happening again in Brisbane starting this weekend. As I have all of next week off I am planning some happy times trawling through the tables and tables of the printed word. Make sure you pack your comfy shoes, snacks, flask of coffee and take regular breaks. It really does take dedication!

My bible-study wants to me to read the alchemist…I can’t get into it…have you read it? what are your thoughts? I’m thinking of doing the big leap over to ‘War and Peace’ – yes, I have a year;)
Yeah I have read The Alchemist. It really well written and I really wanted to adore it. But I found it a bit difficult myself. I say glide right on by that one and head over to War and Peace – I hear its fabulous! I haven’t been back to The Count of Monte Cristo for months now. I need to get back into it. I need to finally finish one of my tasks for 2011! Keep me up to date with Tolstoy!!
